MONTVILLE, NJ – The Montville Environmental Commission is hosting another winter series, beginning this week. The Simply Happy Series focuses on how to simplify different parts of your life, in an effort to be happier and less stressed.
The first part will be a short talk and Q&A on Thursday, Jan. 30, at 7 p.m. at the Senior House. Environmental Commission member Bansari Shah will be sharing details and strategies on how to live a happier life through zero waste minimalism, based on both scientific research and personal experience. If it seems like life is more stressful, more complicated, and harder these days than in generations past, you’re not alone. Could it be that our consumerist lifestyle, our obsession with more, and the consequent financial stress are contributing to that? Those who follow minimalism think so. What if there was a simpler way to live? If you can't wait to learn more, check out theminimalists.com or The Minimal Mom on YouTube.
The event will be recorded for those who are unable to attend.
The second part of the series will be a zero waste cooking class and meal planning lesson on Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. and Feb. 29, at 12 p.m. For more information, please visit: bit.ly/simplyp1
