Montville Twp Brings Back Fireworks, Carnival After Two-Year Hiatus

MONTVILLE, NJ – Droves of residents enjoyed the 4th of July festivities held at the high school and library parking lots June 29-July 1. There were bands, contests, a carnival with rides, and food vendors at the event postponed for two years due to the pandemic.

The winner of the hot dog-eating contest devoured 7 ½ wieners, according to Rich Caprio of the 4th of July Committee.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ -  The Morris County Sheriff's CrimeStoppers is asking residents to help identify this man. According to police, between the hours of 7:30 p.m. on June 29 and 2 a.m. on June 30 a suspect pried open the door with a tool and entered a series of office and commercial buildings.
