Tarragon Needs a Home

Tarragon is a beautiful silvery grey cat that came to the shelter as a tiny kitten.  This poor boy is now a year old and has lived his entire life in a cage at the shelter.  Tarragon is a big guy and very independent.  He doesn’t like to be held but will come to you for pets.  He has not been with other kittens or cats and would be best as an only kitty.

It's Lucy’s Turn to Find a Home

Lucy came to the shelter as a stray, clearly pregnant and ready to deliver soon. She delivered 9 puppies and was a great mama. All the puppies have been adopted and poor Lucy is still waiting for her home.

Bubba (8) and Rose (4) have been at the Montville Animal Shelter since July 2019 ‘on hold’ pending the outcome of a neglect court case. Poor pups were left on a balcony in July for days with no shade, no water and little food. Persol & Grant Growing up at the Shelter Need Home

Persol & Grant were strays brought to the shelter as little kittens. They have been at the shelter for most of their lives, growing up in a steel cage. They are both very sweet and miss the attention they were getting prior to the covid crisis when volunteers were able to play & cuddle with them. Claudia had a Rough Start but Ready for a Happy Ending

Claudia was left on a doorstep of a local vet in a Rubbermaid container. Thankfully she was found quickly and did not suffocate in the sun.  Claudia is a very calm sweet  longhair girl. She enjoys being pet & loves to be brushed. Her beginning at the shelter was a sad one, but she has blossomed and we look forward to a happy ending in a forever home.
