MONTVILLE, NJ - While we are all social distancing and staying home to flatten the curve, the Montville Animal Shelter continues to seek homes for the many animals at the shelter. Right now Montville Animal Shelter is placing pets like Curley & Merlin with a new, no contact, Foster to Adopt Program until further notice to help find homes for these lonely animals at the shelter.
Curley & Merlin were surrendered to the shelter when their owner passed away and the family didn’t want them. They went from a loving home to a cold cage almost overnight and really deserve to have a warm and caring family help them through this crisis. Poor Curley needs special food and has a neurologic disorder that causes him to shake but in no way stops him from being a lovable, adorable kitty. Curley & Merlin are often overlooked by adopters and could really use a rescue hearted person looking for a lifetime of cat devotion from this sweet pair of felines.
You can find all the details of this exciting program, the adoption application and a link to Petfinder to see all the adoptable pets at http://www.montvillenj.org/342/Adoptable-Pets
Can’t foster or adopt? You can still make a huge difference in the life of a shelter dog or cat by making a monetary donation now on line at www.montvillepetparents.org. No donation is too big or too small. Every single penny counts and goes directly towards the care of a shelter animal.
Like many, the Covid19 crisis has hit the Montville Animal Shelter hard and they have had to temporarily suspend the drop off of food and other supplies relied upon to supplement the needs of the animals. You also can help right now by donating an e-gift card that can be used to purchase these items for the animals. Cards that allow online purchases such as Amazon, Chewy and Walmart allow contactless purchase of supplies. You can email a donated gift card to email@example.com or Info@montvillepetparents.org.
As always THANK YOU for your generous support of the Montville Animal Shelter. We couldn’t do what we do without you.
Stay safe and healthy.
