PARSIPPANY, NJ – Parsippany police and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating a body found inside a home on Old Bloomfield Avenue in Parsippany, which is just across the border from Montville and connects with Bloomfield Avenue. Not many details were released on the case by County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp’s office.

Knapp and Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Chief Andrew Miller said that they received information on Sept. 9 regarding the body of a deceased male in a home on that road, which was confirmed. They did not release the individual’s identity or cause of death in the open investigation.

The investigation is being conducted by the Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit, and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit.
