MONTVILLE, NJ – An armed robbery occurred at the Delta Gas Station on Rt. 202 in Towaco Tuesday evening, according to Police Chief Andrew Caggiano.

Montville Township Police were called to the station just before their 10 p.m. closing time on Aug. 25, Caggiano said, after two employees reported that four people wearing masks approached them.

“One person had a hand gun and another had a knife,” Caggiano said the employees had reported. “They threatened the two employees and demanded their money, and the employees complied. The suspects then fled the scene in a dark-colored four-door vehicle.”
