MONTVILLE, NJ – In this time of social distancing, birthday parties are not allowed, so when the birthday of the son of a local law enforcement officer came up, the Montville Township Police Department decided to help celebrate with a police parade.

Patrolman Brian Crownover, Sergeant George Quentz, Corporal Joseph Dodgson, Detective Dana Reid and Chief Andrew Caggiano drove by the Montville Township home with police SUVs and a police motorcycle – the vehicles’ lights, sirens and horns signaling that a special birthday boy lives here. Caggiano’s wife Cristina held a sign out the car window that said “Happy Birthday, Tommy!” that Caggiano’s kids had hand-lettered.

Proud parents Rachel and Tom Infusino thanked the department for the parade: “Big shout out to Andrew Caggiano and the Montville Police Department for the drive-by to celebrate Tommy’s 5th birthday. We can’t thank you enough. Stay safe.”
