MONTVILLE, NJ – Mayor Richard Conklin swore in Montville Township Police Officer Joseph Colella at the Dec. 10 Montville Township Committee, after Police Chief Andrew Caggiano introduced him to the committee.

“Patrolman Joseph Colella is a lifelong resident of Montville Township and he graduated from Montville Township High School in 2010,” Caggiano told the committee. “He continued his education at East Stroudsburg University, where he graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice.”

“Prior to this career in law enforcement, Joseph worked at the Law Offices of James C. Dezao, Esquire for four years, working as a real estate paralegal.

“Joseph looks forward to starting his career and serving the community as a Montville Township Police Officer,” Caggiano finished.

Conklin swore in the officer as Colella’s family looked on.
