MONTVILLE, NJ - Montville Township and Parsippany Police departments responded to an incident on Waxberg Lane in Pine Brook on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

At approximately 4:20 p.m., residents, including Stephanie Sharratt, were questioned by police about whether they had seen a white male run through the street. Not long thereafter Sharratt said that police found a man hiding behind a fence in a neighbor's yard. That man was later taken away by police in handcuffs, she said.

When reached Tuesday afternoon, Montville Police Chief Andrew Caggiano declined to comment, citing an ongoing investigation. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
