MONTVILLE, NJ - Fairfield resident William Pollock was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 27 for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, according to Montville Township Police Chief Rudy Appelmann.

Appelmann said the police department received a 911 call reporting an erratic driver on Route 46 in Pine Brook at 8 p.m. on Sunday. Ptl. Sean Regan responded to the call and located the vehicle in question in the Park and Ride parking lot, according to Appelmann.

After an investigation, Appelmann reported that Pollock, age 33, was arrested and charged with possession of 26 bags of heroin, drug paraphernalia and syringes.

Pollock was served with a summons and released, according to Appelmann.
