MONTVILLE, NJ - The Montville girls soccer team, which was seeded 16th in the Morris County Tournament, advanced in the preliminary round of the tournament on Saturday morning with a 2-1 overtime win over 17th seed Morris Tech at Montville Township High School.

Bella Vito scored both goals, including the game-winner with 6:09 left in overtime. Her goal in the first half came off an assist from her sister, Dani Vito, which gave the squad a 1-0 lead going into halftime.

The win advanced the Mustangs to the second round, where it will travel to face top seed Randolph next weekend. Montville is currently 3-3-1, and will travel to face Pope John in its next game on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
