MORRISTOWN, NJ - Under bright clear skies, the Morristown Farmer's Market opened to the public over the weekend, bringing fresh local organic items to the Morristown community. Visitors were able to stroll through the market enjoying all the local homegrown items.
Flowers, honey, pickles, wines, sausage, chicken, fish, cheeses, fresh vegetables and fruit were featured in today's offerings. Items will change with the seasons so customers are encouraged to come back weekly to see what's new.
Entertainment and special events have been added to the weekly calendar and will entertain shoppers on the second Sunday of each month. Today shoppers were able to enjoy healthy living tips from Dr Nancy Smith of Smith Chiropractic. The Morris Animal Inn had watering stations and information for shoppers who brought their dogs out for a Sunday stroll.
The Farmer's Market is sponsored by the Morristown Partnership and is proud to be celebrating their 25th anniversary. The Market, located in the parking lot #10 behind Spring and Morris Streets is open from 8:30 am - 2:00 pm every Sunday and will continue to offer local homegrown goods through Sunday November 22.
