MORRISTOWN, NJ -  Students from 80 schools throughout New Jersey auditioned for the North Jersey Region 1 Band which performed a special concert on Saturday January 13 at Parsippany Hills High School.

Morristown High School music teachers Michael Russo and Norma Davis were pleased to announce that four students from MHS were selected for the Wind Ensemble or Symphonic Band. 

 Alex Yip and Dylan Quattro were selected for the Symphonic Band. Yip was selected for Trumpet, 1st Chair and Quattro was selected for Trumpet. Claire Oplinger and Andrew Rosenkilde were selected for Wind Ensemble. Oplinger was chosen for Flute and Rosenkilde was selected for Piano. He was also selected for Region 1 Orchestra.
