5/1: ARREST FOR PARAPHERNALIA/WARRANTS: Officers were conducting a property check at Minnisink Property in Jefferson when they observed a suspicious person. An investigation led to Ian J. Carlon, age 32, of Jefferson, to be charged with Possession of Hypodermic Needles and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was also discovered to have three warrants for failure to appear in various municipal courts. He was turned over to the custody of the Woodbridge Police Department.

5/1: CARELESS DRIVING: Officers were dispatched to Passaic River County Park in Chatham Township on a report of numerous vehicles driving carelessly in the area, putting patrons in harm. Vehicles were gone upon patrol arrival; caller advised.

5/3: ARREST FOR HIGH-CAPACITY AMMUNITION MAGAZINES: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for an equipment violation in Roxbury. An investigation led to Kenneth T. Butt, age 26, of Hopatcong, with Possession of High Capacity Rifle Magazines. He was released with a court date pending.

5/3: SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE: Officers were dispatched to Tourne County Park in Boonton Township on a report of a suspicious package. An investigation revealed the package to be trash and not a harm to the public.

5/3: ARRESTS FOR NARCOTICS: Officers were conducting a foot patrol detail at Patriots' Path in Morristown, when they observed two suspicious persons. An investigation led to Andres A. Prudencio-Hernandez, age 23, of Morristown, and Carlos Andino, age 35, of Dover, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Hindering Apprehension. They were both released with a court date pending.

5/5: ARRESTS FOR WARRANTS: Officers were conducting a foot patrol detail at Patriots' Path in Morristown when they observed a suspicious occupied vehicle. An investigation revealed Johnny Eagleheart, age 52, of Jersey City, to have two warrants for failure to appear in municipal court; and Elizabeth A. Flannery, age 36, of Morristown, to have a warrant for failure to appear in Mine Hill Municipal Court. Mr. Eagleheart was turned over to the custody of the Morristown Police Department and Ms. Flannery was released with a court date pending.

5/5: ARREST FOR WARRANT: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for an equipment violation in Morristown. An investigation revealed Tyree M. Bonner, age 38, of Dover, to have an N.C.I.C. Warrant out of Maryland. He was eventually released with a court date pending.
