MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ - April has been declared Clean Community Month in Morris Township. The Morris Township Department of Parks & Recreation invites the community to join with other local citizens and community groups by cleaning up one to the Township’s parks, community facilities, or a nearby neighborhood.

Work gloves and trash bags are available and may be picked up on any Saturday morning from April 2nd to April 30th from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at the Morris Township Parks Garage at the Woodland Sewer Plant on Florence Avenue.  Organized groups may also obtain a limited number of rakes for area clean-ups. The Department can also deliver gloves and bags with advance notification.  The Parks and Recreation Department maintenance staff will be traveling the Township in the afternoon each Saturday to pick-up filled bags of trash and debris.

Morris Township civic associations, sports organizations, and individual citizen volunteers are invited to join in this important community event, so please come out, meet your neighbors and contribute a bit of fun clean-up work to a great cause.
