MORRISTOWN, NJ – The Morristown High School boys and girls basketball teams were in action on Thursday, Jan. 16.

Despite three players scoring in double figures, the Morristown High School girls basketball team fell to undefeated Montville, 50-30, Thursday night in Morristown. The
Mustangs opened with a 17-7 advantage after one quarter of play and cruised from there. Tara O’Neill, Kolby Lynch and Aziah Adams all netted 10 points for the Colonials,
which dropped to 6-3 on the season.

Bella Vito led 10-0 Montville with a game-high 16 points.

Morristown hosts Sparta Saturday morning at 10am.

On the boys side, the Colonials fell to 3-7 on the season following a 75-36 road loss to Randolph Thursday evening. The Rams led 24-2 after one quarter and never looked back. It was a balanced effort for Randolph offensively. Ryan Ross put in 11 points and Justin Lawler hauled in 15 rebounds for the Rams, now 7-4.

Morristown takes on Delbarton on the road Wednesday night at 7.
