“Our retail businesses are getting ready for what is expected to be one of the summer’s biggest shopping days in Belmar,” said Pat Tecza, chair of the BBP’s retail programs committee and owner of Nostalgic Nonsense Vintage Clothing. “Belmar has so much to offer when it comes to places to shop, eat and explore that we are pleased to place the spotlight on them for what we hope will become an annual event.”

In addition to shopping or eating at their favorite establishments — as well as experiencing a host of new ones — attendees will have the chance to win door prizes, valued at more than $1,000. These include a Weber gas grill from Taylor Hardware and a five $100 gift cards to each winner’s Belmar business or restaurant of choice.

Door prize winners will be announced at 4 p.m. when a performance by the local band, Doubting Toms, with special guests will cap off the day’s activities in Pyanoe Plaza, located at Ninth Avenue and Main Street.
