MORRISTOWN, NJ - Do you believe in ghosts? If you do or unsure if they really exist, you won't want to miss the Fall Walking Tour , sponsored by The Morris County Tourism Bureau on Saturday, October 10 at 10am. . 

Come and explore The Ford Mansion which was home to George and Martha Washington in 1780 and the Ford Family for three generations as the mansion may hold some "ghostly revelations".

The Ford Mansion recently underwent a paranormal study by well respected investigator of ghosts and hauntings, Gordon Ward. The tour will include new photos, audio recordings, developing theories, and information collected from his study of the Ford Mansion.

“The efforts of the Tourism Bureau not only call attention to the great history of Morris County, but offer residents and visitors some great recreational opportunities, and offer a boost to the county’s economy,’’ said Morris County Freeholder Director Kathy DeFillippo. “I encourage residents to take advantage of and enjoy these offerings.’’  

These annual walking tours are usually among the most popular offered by the Tourism Bureau and sell out quickly, so pre-registration and pre-payment are required to hold a reservation.

Tour participants should meet in the auditorium of the Washington’s Headquarters Museum, 30 Washington Place, Morristown.
