MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Big Brew Beer Fest returned to the Morristown Armory with much excitement.
Hundreds of people, from Morristown as well as neighboring towns filled both sessions of the Big Brew Beer Fest this past Saturday.
Allison Kohler, president of LMK Events, has sponsored this event twice a year since 2012.
LMK Events participates in numerous activities throughout the year such as Just Jersey Fest, Big Brew NJ and Big Brew NY.
The Beer Fest offered over 250 unlimited Craft Beer tastings, some from local companies such as Flounder Brewing in Hillsborough, NJ and Angry Erik Brewing in Lafayette, NJ.
A free shuttle service was provided by My Limo and courtesy of Big Brew Fest.
Timothy Harrington, President and CEO of Talero Tequila, the world’s first luxury organic tequila, was sampled at the Brew Fest.
Several companies offered a variety of tasty cuisines.
Hot Rods, 19 North Main St, Wharton, NJ, offered chili dip, pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans and cole slaw just to name a few.
The Cow and the Curd food truck made its way from Philadelphia to offer fresh battered fried cheese curds.
Mommas Home Made, from Voorhees, NJ, offered an all natural and gluten free apple sauce. Sweet potato syrup and various wing sauces are available to purchase as well. Daisy Smith and Jaconda Bell, owners of the mother and daughter business described their food as, "souful gourmet food".
In addition to food and drink items, there were also vendors such as Bamboozeld, a company offering very creative gift ideas for purchase.
Throughout the evening session of the Big Beer Brew Fest, Mr. Lovejoy, a local band played upbeat fun music for people to dance to or simply listen to while sampling all the Brew Fest had to offer. Mr Lovejoy consists of Richie Moscola on guitar, bass and vocals; Danny pierson on bass and lead vocals; Jay De Ruggiero on drums and vocals and Mike Erianne on guitar and vocals.
