MORRISTOWN, NJ--The Morristown High baseball team has made it through the opening week of the state tournament.

Fueled by Sami Cazimoski's red hot bat, the top-seeded Colonials had no trouble dispatching Passaic, 8-2, in the quarterfinal round of the NJSIAA North 1, Group 4 tournament at Harter Road. The Colonials will now face West Orange in the semifinals on Tuesday at home.
Cazimoski had himself a fine day at the plate, and his home run was part of a 3-for-3 day with 3 RBI to give the Colonials a big lead over the Tribe from Passaic County.
Brennan O'Neill--sophomore Morristown pitcher--picked up the victory on the mound with 4.2 innings of work to improve his record to 4-3 on the campaign.
