MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ - Senior goalie Jamie Boles turned away 29 shots to post the shutout for Chatham in a 3-0 ice hockey victory over Morristown-Beard on Wednesday at Mennen Sports Arena.

Freshman Alex Laferriere, senior Jack O'Neill and junior Tanner Acone each netted a goal for Chatham (8-3-2).

The Cougars struck twice late in the second period to grab a 2-0 lead. Laferriere scored with 3:04 left to break the scoreless tie, with Shay Black and David Andreychuk earning assists. O'Neill struck with just 58 seconds left in the period when he converted a pass from Michael Sciaretta.

Acone connected for his goal in the third period. Andreychuk ad Greg Slamm were credited with assists on the goal.

Anthony DelTufo had 25 saves for Morristown-Beard (10-4).
