MORRISTOWN, NJ - A Cut-a-Thon, which benefits the Morristown High School Theatre as well as the American Cancer Society will be taking place on Sunday February 11 from 11am - 4pm at C'est La Vie, 7 Townsquare in Chatham.
Owner Lynn Blenner of C'est La Vie in Chatham, is the mother of former Morristown High School student Steven Blenner, and she has helped the MHS Theatre group with hair and makeup for the past five years. Two years ago she she came up with the idea of the cut-a-thon as a way to generate money to help support the program.
"The Annual Cut-a-Thon is a wonderfully successful and incredibly generous charity fundraiser run by Lynn Blenner and her staff at C'est La Vie in Chatham", said Producer Ralph Losanno, Jr. "The money raised that day from haircuts, prom hairdo styling tryouts, makeup, waxing, gift card sales, and hair product purchases will generate nearly 100% profit for the MHS Theatre program and the American Cancer Society."
The Morristown High School Theatre will receive 10% from every gift card purchased and $20 for every hair cut. For any boutique item purchased, the theatre group will receive 20%. To make an appointment and support the MHS Theatre, call or text Lynn at 973-495-9014.
