CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham Township police are seeking help in identifying three unknown individuals who caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to the back of Lafayette School on July 12.

Security cameras captured photos of the vandals during the 3 a.m. mischief behind Lafayette School, where a small fire was started and windows were broken.

Lafayette Avenue School Vandalism
On July 12th, 2018, Chatham Township Police Department responded to the Lafayette School for a report of vandalism to the rear of the Lafayette Avenue School. School officials reported that several exterior windows of the school had been broken and that a small fire had been set in the school courtyard which caused further damage to the property. The damage is estimated to cost several thousands of dollars to repair.

Security cameras revealed that at approximately 3:00 a.m. three unknown individuals committed the acts of vandalism. Anyone with information or who can identify the individuals in the surveillance photos is urged to contact the Chatham Township Police Department Detective Bureau at 973-377-0129.
