1/3/17: ARRESTS FOR NARCOTICS: Officers observed a suspicious vehicle in Central Park in Parsippany. An investigation led to Christopher J. Griggs, age 18, of Morris Plains, and Cody J. Bubryckie, age 18, of Morris Township, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Entering and/or Remaining in a County Park After Sunset. They were both released with a court date pending.

1/4/17: HUNTING VIOLATION: Ptl. Brett Rossi and Ptl. Michael Rafferty were dispatched to Mount Hope County Park in Rockaway Township on a report of a male hunting with a shotgun, in violation of Morris County Park Commission hunting rules and regulations. A foot patrol of the area was conducted with negative results. Incident turned over to the Detective Bureau.

1/6/17: MOTOR-VEHICLE CRASH: Ptl. Philip Rega was dispatched to Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morris Township on a report of a motor-vehicle crash with injuries. The driver complained of head and neck pain and was transported to the hospital for further observation and/or treatment.

1/14/17: BURGLARIES/THEFTS: Ptl. Brett Rossi was dispatched to Schooley's Mountain County Park in Washington on a report of three parked motor-vehicles that had their front windows smashed and items stolen from inside. Incident turned over to the Detective Bureau for investigation.

1/14/17: BURGLARY/THEFT: Ptl. Anthony Brunone and Ptl. Christian DiGiralomo were dispatched to the Dog Park section of Central Park in Parsippany on a report of a parked motor-vehicle that had its front window smashed and items stolen from inside. Incident turned over to the Detective Bureau for investigation.

1/14/17: ARRESTS FOR NARCOTICS: Ptl. Timothy Drake and SLEO II Joseph Abrusci executed a motor-vehicle stop for a moving violation in Mount Olive. An investigation led to Darien A. Campbell, age 22, of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Frederick D. Regis-Kennedy, age 20, of College Park, GA. to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. They were both released with a court date pending.

1/14/17: ARREST FOR DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED: Sgt. Edward Koster executed a motor-vehicle stop for a moving violation in Rockaway. An investigation led to David C. Kilian, age 34, of Montville, to be charged with Driving While Intoxicated and other motor-vehicle violations. He was eventually released with a court date pending.
