Winter Cordial tasting party will provide an introduction to the environmental mission and actions of the Great Swamp Watershed Association while raising money through an anonymous match
Morristown, NJ—On Thursday, December 1, 2016, the Great Swamp Watershed Association (GSWA) will host a merry cordial tasting party designed to introduce area residents and visitors to the organization’s 34-year legacy of environmental stewardship, education, and advocacy in the Great Swamp region.
Between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., guests are invited to sip on a unique variety of cordials, with flavors ranging from herbal, floral, chocolate, and more. An assortment of sweet and savory treats will accentuate the cordials, and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Later in the evening, GSWA’s director of education and outreach, will present one of her famous environmental quizzes. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
There is no charge for individuals who are not members of GSWA to attend this informal celebration, and members can attend for free as well, but must bring along at least one non-member friend as their “price of admission” (or pay $25). Larger groups are encouraged.
An anonymous donor has pledged to contribute $25 to GSWA for each new person introduced to the organization at the tasting. The same donor has also pledged to match, dollar-for-dollar, any and all contributions made to GSWA during the event (up to $5,000)
Reservations are required, and all attendees must be 21 years of age or older. To make a reservation online, please visit GreatSwamp.org. To reserve by phone, please call (973) 538-3500. Space is limited.
