RANDOLPH, NJ - County College of Morris (CCM) will be holding a Veterans Day Celebration on Thursday, November 9, to honor and remember our nation’s veterans.

Free and open to the public, the event takes place 12:30 p.m. in the Dragonetti Auditorium, Student Community Center, on CCM’s Randolph campus, 214 Center Grove Road.

The observance will include speakers, a video and musical performances featuring the anthems of the nation’s armed service branches.

Veterans Day originated as a celebration to mark the end of World War I on November 11, 1919 and became an official holiday in 1938. Every year following, the United States has saluted its veterans for their service to protect our country.
