MORRISTOWN, NJ - The deadline to register to vote in the November general election is Tuesday October 14, 2014.

 Dale Kramer, Morris County Board of Elections Administrator, said "her office, which is open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Monday through Friday, will remain open until 9 PM. on October 14, extending its hours to accommodate county residents who would like to register to vote or who need to change some of their personal information."

The office is on the second floor of the Morris County Administration and Records Building on Court Street in Morristown.

"Any U. S. citizen who is 18 years of age on or before the November 4th election may register to vote as long as he or she is not incarcerated, on parole or on probation because of a conviction for an indictable offense, " Kramer said.

In order to be able to register to vote in Morris County, a person must have resided in the county 30 days before the election.

Individuals may register to vote by completing a registration application form. Forms are available at the Morris County Board of Elections’ office, by mail,  at the municipal clerk's office, or by downloading a form from the county’s Election Center Web site, www.morriselections.org.
