DENVILLE, NJ - A call about questionable activity taking place inside a parked van led to the arrest of a local man for drug distribution, police said.

They said they were alerted to "possible drug activity in a white van" that was happening on Dec. 23. The tipster said the vehicle was parked at the end of Woodland Road, police said.

An investigation led to the arrest of Brandon McDermott, 35, of Denville, police said. They said McDermott was "selling bundles of heroin on the street."

McDermott was charged with distribution of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute and possession of heroin, police said.
