Skedaddle Transportation Service will offer daily bussing to and from Midtown Manhattan for commuters due to the Morris & Essex line diversion
MORRISTOWN, NJ -- In acknowledgement of feedback to a survey taken by hundreds of Morristown commuters, the Town of Morristown has decided to offer a direct bus service to and from New York, courtesy of Skedaddle, for commuters in the area during July and August. This new arrangement with Skedaddle will serve as an alternative travel option for riders in response to the delays caused by the Morris & Essex line diversion to Hoboken. The bus service will begin running on July 10th and end on September 1st.
“Morristown residents have raised their concerns about the Morris & Essex line diversion in the upcoming weeks and I hope this arrangement will lessen the burden these delays will have on our commuters,” stated Morristown Mayor Timothy Dougherty. “The response to the survey we conducted was overwhelmingly supportive of the direct bus service option this summer.”
