MORRISTOWN, NJ - Later this month, Morristown will lose one of its sweetest businesses. Sweet Lucy's Bakery, located along South Street has decided that after almost five years, it is time to shut its doors.

In a message to customers, gourmet bakery owner Tracy Silverman said, "running a from-scratch bakery is a labor of love, and since becoming a mother two years ago, it has been difficult to balance my time. The decision to close the business is a simple one: to allow myself more time to spend with my family".

The lights will dim and the doors will close for good on November 21. Silverman encouraged customers to use any outstanding gift cards and to come into the store for deep discounts on all baking accessories.

"Thank you again for believing in us and allowing us to be a part of your special events and everyday lives, wrote Silverman. "Farewell for now, and I hope our paths cross again soon".
