MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Town of Morristown offers a free bus service for residents. For years, The Colonial Coach has been picking up residents and bringing them around town, to nearby shopping centers, to neighborhoods and local pools. This year, the Colonial Coach is retiring and the town will be getting a new bus, said town officials.
But what should the new bus's name be? Mayor Dougherty and the Town of Morristown are asking residents to submit suggestions online in a new contest. Submissions will be taken from now until July 6, 2018 and officials will announce the winner and the name of the new bus at the Town Council meeting on August 7, 2018.
Here's how to enter:
1. Submit as many names as you can think of using the form below https://goo.gl/forms/BFTw2AZebF8k7YDE3, now through Friday, July 6th. In the case of duplicate entries, the first person to submit the name is eligible to win, so hurry!
2. Follow the Facebook page facebook.com/townofmorristown, so you’re notified when it’s time to vote in the Facebook poll.
3. The entries that are among the top three vote-getters in the Facebook poll will be eligible to choose one of three prizes!
