The NJAC has a specific set of requirements for all sporting events. Masks are mandatory for spectators at all times; social distancing is mandatory and subject to facility
restrictions; there will be no visiting student spectators; attendance at home venues is limited to 70 percent for home schools and 30 percent for visiting schools; and participants are limited to varsity and junior varsity only for the sport of football.

“We are limited to having 500 fans at outdoor events,” Horton said in a statement. “This should not be an issue for the majority of our sports. While I know we are all excited to see sports returning, all spectators are asked to be diligent in regard to social distancing and wearing masks at our events. We can not afford to have our seasons affected anymore by the COVID-19 virus.”
