FEATURE OF THE WEEK PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

With 22 miles of continuous white sand, Punta Cana has many beautiful beaches.  The beaches around Punta Cana are some of the best in the Caribbean and best in the entire Dominican Republic. Coco palms dot much of the seashore with soft white sand.  Playa Bavaro is the main tourist beach in Bavaro with powdery white sand and coco palms leaning onto the shore.  Bavaro beach is very long and an evening walk along Playa Bavaro can seem endless.

Leading newspaper USA Today has included Bavaro Beach, in the Dominican Republic’s easternmost region, on the exclusive list of the top ten beaches in the Caribbean. The beach, lined by some of the Caribbean’s top hotels and protected by an extensive barrier reef, came in seventh on the list. A panel of experts, including editors, picked the pristine beach from a list of 20 nominees. ( From Access Dominican Republic March 2017).  Call us today for specials to Punta Cana at 908-769-6825

In the Caribbean “high season” runs from December through early April, and the “peak season” is the last week of December and the first week of January. In May and November “shoulder season” rates in some places, and generally June through October is the “low season.”
