BOONTON, NJ -  Unfortunately, the magic carpet ride has come to an end.

Morristown High School’s superb field hockey season was stopped short in the Group 4 semifinals on Wednesday night at Boonton High School, as the Colonials fell 2-1 to Bridgewater-Raritan in overtime. The Panthers advanced to a remarkable 13th straight state championship game with the victory, while Morristown closed out the campaign a 19-4.
Olivia Graham scored the lone goal for Morristown, who struck first to take the lead in the first half. However, the Panthers would equalize before the break, and would eventually win it in the extra period.
Goalie Emily Prachthauser recorded five saves for the Colonials.
