MORRISTOWN, NJ - The National Weather Service is calling for a "potentially crippling" winter storm to hit portions of the mid-Atlantic Friday into early Saturday. The storm will likely cause high winds, coastal flooding, and periods of heavy snow for the region.
According to the NSW, Morristown is expected to see between 5-8 inches of snow. A Winter Storm Watch in effect from late Friday night through Sunday morning. Snow is expected to begin in the Morristown area after 1 a.m. Friday night. Winds will pick up on Saturday with snow becoming heaving at times. Chance of precipitation 100 percent.
