MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morristown CERT Team and the Morristown Fire Department will be teaming up with the Red Cross on Saturday December 2 to provide and install smoke alarms to help Morristown residents stay safe.

This free service aims to reduce the number of home fire-related injuries and fatalities.

Volunteers will be knocking on doors on Columbia Street, Grant Street, Cleveland Street, Bellevue Street, Morton Street and Harrison Street to provide this free service. Residents who live on other streets and are interested in having smoke detectors installed at no cost to the home owner should call Lindsay Doyle at 973-292-6603.
