MORRISTOWN, NJ - Get those costumes ready! Morristown and Morris Township are preparing for some fun Halloween Activities this weekend. 

Saturday October 28

Don't miss the 75th Annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest. Morristown's little ghouls, goblins, and ghosts are invited to Morristown Recreation's 75th Annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest. The parade and costume contest will take place at Lidgerwood Park on Saturday October 28 at 10am. Prizes will be awarded for scariest, best looking and most original. There will be 4 age groups; 4 and under, 5-7 years, 8-10 years, and 11 and up. All attendees are invited to dress up.

Later in the day, wear your costume and Trunk or Treat with some of Morris Township’s Policemen at Ginty Field Complex from 5pm – 7pm.  It’s a safe and fun alternative to door-to-door trick or treating.

Lastly, on Saturday evening enjoy a Halloween Movie and Bonfire in Morris TownshipThe whole family is invited to watch the movie, Fantastic Beasts and where to find them and stay to enjoy a bonfire courtesy of the Morris Township Fire Department.


Sunday October 29

Don't put those costumes away yet! Hillside Hose Firehouse will be hosting a Halloween Parade at the firehouse from 1pm - 3pm.

Morris Arts will sponsor the 8th Annual Pumpkin Illumination at the Vail Mansion on Sunday October 29. Enjoy live jazz, art workshops, the illuminary parade and the pumpkin illumination. Activities begin at 5pm.
