NEW JERSEY - Face coverings will be required for all students at all times while inside a school building, regardless of social distancing, unless doing so would inhibit the individual’s health, stated Governor Phil Murphy on Tuesday, August 3.

The New Jersey Department of Education is finalizing a document regarding reopening plans. The updated guidance on face coverings will also include several exceptions to this standard to include students with disabilities.
