MORRISTOWN, NJ - October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and H2Ocean Restaurant & Raw bar is proud to partner up with “Hand Craft Artisan Collection” Wines on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Twenty-five percent of the proceeds from the event will go to the Breast Center at Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center in Livingston. The Breast Center at Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center screens and diagnoses more women than any other breast center in the region and is committed to promoting breast health through comprehensive wellness programs. This October, the Breast Center at Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center is on a Pink Crusade to remind and urge women to get their mammogram, because early detection saves lives.
The event "Taking Care of Your Ta-Ta's...an evening with H2O and Hand Craft Wines" will have food, wine and “Off The Hook” Cocktails. There will be prizes, raffles and giveaways. Tickets are $40.
The launch of HandCraft Artisan Collection wines is the ultimate expression of Cheryl Indelicato’s lifestyle and history. Growing up in one of California’s premier winegrowing families, Cheryl developed a caring attitude about people and wine. As part of her passion to make a positive difference in people's lives, Cheryl created the program "HandCraft Cares" to support important causes with financial and in-kind donations. Since 2012, HandCraft has contributed $200,000, to support breast cancer research, prevention and awareness. Cheryl is also personally involved in a number of initiatives at the community level to increase awareness and early detection of breast cancer.
Cheryl is a past President of the Monterey County Vintners and Growers Association, served as Monterey representative to the California Wine Institute, and is a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier. She lives in Monterey, CA with her husband Claude and son Dominic.
