MORRISTOWN, NJ  – Homeless Solutions, Inc. (HSI) President Betsey Hall was recently recognized as one of the Best 50 Women in Business. The NJBIZ Best 50 Women in Business aims to honor women in business who have made an impact in their field.  

As President of HSI, Betsey directs the largest homeless shelter in Morris County, and in her 18 years leading the organization, she has developed or rehabbed 76 apartments of affordable homes for families in the Morris County area.

All Award Recipients Must: 
- be a female resident or be employed in New Jersey
- be self-nominated or nominated by another person
- may be employed in a for-profit business or nonprofit organization
- hold a senior management-level position with significant authority in decision making.
- not be a past award recipient, member of the judges panel or a member of the judges’ immediate family.

Additionally, Hall is an ordained Presbyterian Minister with Master of Divinity from Drew Theological School and a Doctor of Ministry from Columbia Seminary.  She chairs the Board of the Kirkridge Retreat and Study Center in Bangor, Pennsylvania, and she also teaches a course at Drew University on non-profit management.
