MORRISTOWN, NJ - Edible cookie dough, wood fired pizza, hamburgers, kielbasa, lobster rolls, Thai food, and donuts. These and so many more choices at Saturday's 2nd Annual Morristown Food Truck Festival.
Hundreds of foodies from far and wide traveled to Morristown to enjoy the food festival which benefits Homeless Solutions, an organization that has been offering shelter, services and supporting housing to the homeless and working poor in Morris County since 1983.
The food festival began at 11am and will end at 7pm. Under cooler temperatures and blue skies, food connoisseurs enjoyed favorites from The Mexi-Boys, Cupcake Carnivale, Dazed and Confused, Dags Dipper, Rolling Pita, Thai Food Addict, Jammin Crepes, Angry Archie's Seafood, Eat My Balls, Amanda Bananas, Glazed and Confused, The Colonial Grill, Coney Island Wood Fired Pizza and Chicken Wings & Things.
In addition to enjoying good food, attendees could play games and browse artist and craft tables. Lawn chairs and picnic blankets were permitted. Outside food and beverages are not.
Tickets were available at the gate for $10. Children under 12 years old are $5 and children under 3 are free.
