The Thursday Morning Club’s “Le Bazar de Noël” will return this year for a two-day Holiday Boutique from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov 13 and from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov 14 at the Madison Community House, 25 Cook Ave.

Susan Packie and Jeannie Kosakowski, co-chairwomen, have selected 20 local artisans and exhibitors who will sell handmade items and gifts for men, women and children including clothing, scarves, wraps, handbags, totes, soaps, lotions, hand-crafted candy, glass holiday ornaments, paperweights, doll clothes, customized party goods, felted wool mittens and lovely fashion and accessories.  Unique jewelry, new and vintage, classic and handmade, will be available in many designs and materials including silver, beaded and Swarovski crystal.

“The event will be the club’s largest fundraiser this year devoted to providing operating money for the activities of the Madison Community House,” noted Susan Packie, who is also the club’s Ways and Means Chairwoman.  “Just in time for your holiday shopping, “Le Bazar de Noël” will provide the opportunity to purchase gifts for everyone on your list,” Kosakowski said.     The members of the Thursday Morning Club have donated a variety of gift items to Members’ Treasures and The Pet Corner.  They will also be baking cookies, pies, cakes and loaf breads to sell at “La Patisserie” for your holiday entertaining.
