This past May, we lost one of our own, Steve O’Neill, to cancer at the age of 44.  Steve was a dedicated husband, father, coach, supporter of our community, and board member of Morris Plains Soccer.  He will be deeply missed by all those that knew him.  In Steve’s memory, the Morris Plains Soccer Association will be renaming our annual “Kick Cancer” charity to “O’Neill’s Play 4 the Cure”

Our annual soccer game will held on October 13th, 2018 to support The National Foundation For Cancer Research's "Play 4 the Cure".  In the three years we have been holding this event, we have raised over $5,000 for cancer research.  This year our goal is to raise more than our past three-year, combined total of $5,000.

Children in our soccer program will play in various soccer games throughout the day against adult teams made up of Morris Plains teachers, police officers, firefighters, coaches, or board members.  Even though you may not be currently involved in our program now, we can still use your help and support.
