MORRIS PLAINS, NJ - Morris Plains resident and local Eagle Scout, Matthew Enderley has completed a new sign welcoming people into Morris Plains.
The Welcome to Morris Plains sign enhances the primary South entrance to Morris Plains and was part of an Enderley's Eagle Scout Project. Enderley has been a boy scout for over 10 years and is part of Troop 39. Troop 39 meets weekly at the Presbyterian Church of Morris Plains to plan camping trips, community service events and learning required to earn rank advancements.
According to scout leaders, it is a great example of a Scout project that gives back to the community and reinforces the vision: The Boy Scouts of America will prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law
