MORRISTOWN, NJ - Pete's Tavern of Morristown, located at 117 Morris Street, known as "a lively locals' pub for old-school Italian food" will no longer be the place where customers can stop in for a beer or glass of wine. The restaurant has sold their liquor license and will operate as a BYOB (bring your own bottle) establishment.
A resolution was passed by the Town of Morristown, acknowledging the transfer of a liquor license from KTP Holdings (Pete'sTavern) to Market Street Hospitality Ventures.
According to their Facebook page, Pete's wanted to celebrate 50 years of "laughter and friendship". The restaurant held a "Last Call for Alcohol" party on Saturday June 25 to relive and toast the memories.
Pete's will continue to make memories with Family Day on Sunday, Two for Tuesday and Pasta Night on Mondays. To find out what's cooking at Pete's visit; www.petesrestaurantandpub.com
