MORRISTOWN, NJ - Brain Session of East Orange has been arrested on charges related to a kidnapping and sexual assault that occurred in Morristown on January 18, said police.
Morristown Police Officers responded to an apartment building on a report of sexual assault. According to authorities, an adult female came home from shopping and found a male that she did not know, inside her apartment. He demanded her ATM pin number for a credit card and broke electronics inside the apartment belonging to the victim. She was attacked with a taser, bound and sexually assaulted, said police. Police have stated that after the assault, the male left, taking cash and the credit card. She was able to free herself and notify police.
Police were able to identify Session as a potential suspect through surveillance footage and a vehicle description, said police. During a search, police were able to recover the taser and clothing from the incident.
During the investigation, police became aware that Session was involved in a string of burglaries that took place in Morristown on Ridgedale Avenue and Hill Street last November and December.
Sessions has been charged with kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault, burglary, robbery and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was remanded to the Morris County Jail.
