North Atlantic Regional Competitor Whitney Trif Joins The Staff
MORRISTOWN, NJ. The Morris County Park Commission is pleased to announce to Mennen Sports Arena skating staff, Whitney Trif.
Ms. Trif brings an abundance of skating experience as a North Atlantic Regional Competitor, Senior Level in Moves in the Field, and Gold Medalist-Senior Level Freestylist. Previously, she was the Skating School Director at Bridewater Sports Arena and Protec Ponds Ice Center in Somerset, New Jersey, developing and directing all aspects of ice-skating, including Learn-To-Skate classes, off ice training, summer camps, competitions, and producing ice shows.
The team welcomes her extensive background and leadership skills to enhance the Arena’s nationally recognized Learn-To-Skate program, offered to adults and children. Ranked as one of the top ten programs in the nation, Ms. Trif will be spearheading all aspects and contributing to the continued success. She currently resides in Morristown with her husband Greg, daughter Scarlett, and son Wesley.
Mennen Sports Arena is home to over 1 million visitors annually, and offers conveniently scheduled public skate sessions daily. As the best three surface ice arena in the area, Mennen Sports Arena is home to the nationally ranked hockey teams of the New Jersey Colonials, Morris County Youth Hockey, the Skating Club of Morris, and the Garden State Speedskating Club. Mennen Sports Arena welcomes high school hockey teams, hosts summer camp programs for kids, and is the perfect location for hosting special events, a birthday party, or corporate team building outings. Renting the facility for off-ice events, such as concerts, dog shows, and wedding expos, is also an option.
