The Morris County Democratic Freeholder Candidates, Mitchell Horn, Rozella Clyde and John Von Achen, express our appreciation for all those who voted for us during the Primary Election on June 7. Our gratitude goes out to the many individuals who supported us with their time and their resources. To those who did not vote for us on June 7, we hope in the following months to earn your respect and your votes.
Your votes in this year’s primary election signaled your desire for change and the time is now! There has not been a moderate Democratic voice on the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders for over three decades. We hope to change this pattern and bring a new level of Transparency and Trust to the Board. We are experienced budget managers focused on identifying Smart Savings in the county budget. We encourage you to research our platform on www.mcfreehoders.com because we’re confident that you will discover that we are committed to bringing Real Solutions & Real Reform.
The challenges facing Morris County are serious. Your property taxes are some of the highest in the nation, the heroin epidemic is rising, commercial real estate vacancy rates are extremely high, and the county spending is increasing. It is time to elect new leaders that have the experience and courage to deliver the change that you expect.
