MORRIS COUNTY, NJ -  Morris County Medical Examiner, Dr. Ronald Suarez is retiring after 26 years of service.

“The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office has had the pleasure of working with Dr. Suarez over his last 26 years in Morris County", said Prosecutor Knapp. "We thank him for his years of outstanding service, congratulate him on his retirement, and wish him the best in the future”.

Dr. Suarez, a veteran of the United States Navy, began his career in Miami, Florida as an Assistant Medical Examiner. Over the years, he worked in Boston, Massachusetts, for the State of New Jersey, as well as Sussex and Warren Counties in recent years. 

The Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders presented a congratulatory resolution to Dr. Suarez at their meeting this week. Also at the meeting, Morris County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Matt Troiano presented him with a plaque on behalf of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, in the absence of Prosecutor Knapp. Chief Assistant Prosecutor Troiano confirmed Dr. Suarez’s importance in countless criminal cases in Morris County. His expert testimony in court has stood up against some of the best experts in the world.
