MORRISTOWN, NJ - The theme for this year in the Morris School District is "kindness". To help reinforce this district wide initiative, the Educational Foundation is hosting a special parent program to empower, educate and unite the world with kindness. In conjunction with the home/school association, the MEF has partnered with Orly Wahba, founder of Life Vest Inside to help spread the message that kindness is a universal language that transcends race, religion, ethnicity and nationality.
“We are pleased to continue our Parent Education Series by bringing another amazing speaker to the greater Morristown community,” said Patricia Haralampoudis, Chairperson of the MEF. “This program is a great example of the strong partnership we have between the MEF, the HSAs, the schools and the Morris School District. “
Tonight's program, which is the first part of the annual Parent Education Series is intended for parents of all ages. Wahba will be visiting the high school and middle school during the week.
The parent program on Monday September 25 will take place in the Morristown High School auditorium at 7pm. Orly will discuss how being kind, respectful and compassionate can help kids lead happier, healthier and more successful lives.
The event is free and open to the public.
